South County Neighborhood Guide


Diverse, affordable and family-friendly

Southern San Diego county borders Central San Diego to the North and Mexico to the South, with the Pacific Ocean lying on its Western edge. It includes the communities of National City, Chula Vista, and Imperial Beach. South County is home to many attractions, including Sleep Train Ampitheater, once of the largest music venues in the county. It is also the entryway to beautiful Baja California.

Bonita is a community located about 11 miles south of San Diego along the Sweetwater River.
