Oceanside Neighborhood Guide

Oceanside is the third-largest city in San Diego county. With Interstate-5 and State Routes 76 and 78 running through it, driving the 35 miles to San Diego city is quick and easy. Along with Carlsbad and Vista, Oceanside is part of the “tri-city” area of North San Diego county.

This community is located right in the heart of SoCal, and ticks all the boxes in the SoCal lifestyle – perfect weather, beautiful beaches, great surfing, and fantastic people. You’ve got 3.5 miles of white-sand beaches to swim, surf, and sunbathe, plus one of the longest wooden piers on the West coast. As a bonus, you don’t even need a fishing license to fish off the pier!

Every Thursday morning at the corner of Pier View Way and Coast Highway, this city hosts a farmer’s market full of delicious fresh produce. Every Thursday evening they hold the Sunset Market, with over 170 booths full of hot food and shopping, featuring live music and other entertainment.

Homes in Oceanside are quite reasonably priced by Southern California standards, and run the gamut from detached single-family homes, townhouses and apartments, to mobile homes.
