Torrey Highlands Neighborhood Guide

Torrey Highlands is a residential neighborhood about 23 miles north of San Diego. Most of the properties date from the year 2000 or newer, and there are many types to choose from. About 120 apartments in the gated Vista Terraza community have been designated as affordable housing, and offer some of the most reasonably-priced real estate in the area.

The main road for this community is State Route 56, with Camino Del Sur and Carmel Valley Road being the main internal thoroughfares. Torrey Highlands Village shopping center, at SR 56 and Camino Del Sur, is the main commercial area, and the Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch, along Carmel Valley Road, is only a mile or so away.

For recreation, upscale country clubs such as The Farms and The Santaluz Club are only a few minutes’ drive away. Black Mountain Open Space Park it close by to the east, and the beaches of Del Mar and Torrey Pines are about 10 miles to the west.
